Password not working

Hello! I was playing with the Security settings under the general site options, so I enabled the password protection, set my password, but nothing happens. Any hint? Thanks in advance for your help and this great tool.

After reinstalling meli it worked. No idea why at the moment, I did the exactly same steps.
