ACL options in page GUI ?

Having options in the GUI to set page ACLs (like https://github.com/weknowinc/grav-plugin-permissions tries to do) would be such an important improvement to ensure that no mistakes with ACLs happen. Setting and checking page ACLs in frontmatter only is really tedious. But sadly grav-plugin-permissions doesn't seem to work and it looks like @jmolivas has given up on it. Parts of it are discussed here https://github.com/getgrav/grav-plugin-login/issues/166.

Is there any plugin that already does this?

This is something we plan on improving and adding when we get Flex Pages integrated.

I think he was already half way there. Just the frontmatter looks wrong and not in the right place.
