HESTIA CP. but hestia actually isntalls it correctly. that is to say, i can't get it to install any other way (using Composer, being ]my "any other way", boy be lazy!
but. i did do the 1.8 fresh install. i forget why it didn't work. i think it was the same error. about symfony/http-client ... can't resovle it.
is there a way to update from 1.7.mine to 1.7.9 (whatever was the latest 1.7.x)? the update process complains that my version 1.7.8 doesn't update to 1.8 (as copied to title of thread here)
ASIDE from these issues, i really like Grav. Hence my [apparent] frustration, if it seems to be. I'm not really frustrated. I mean, i can use it as is. But i'm trying to develop a tutorial for my g/f who is autistic, and this particular snag feel like... "i dunno..."
meanwhile, i guess it couldn't hurt to share this as an aside: i created a means of previewing php in a browser, easily, from e.g. within VSCode's terminal. have a look. that's what this link is. not monetized or anything. :)
