Blog tutorial doesn't say how blog items are added or formatted

The tutorial at pages/10.cookbook/06.tutorials/04.create-a-blog/docs.md explains how to set up a blog, by describing how the blog capstone is added. But the tutorial does not say how individual blog pages (items) are added and formatted.
