Make possible to have different amount of split view windows per workspace

An avid user of the split view appearance, I was wondering if, for instance a feature where the following could be set by the user:

Workspace A has 4 columns Workspace B has 3 columns Workspace C has 2 columns

etc. rather than only having the option to have the same amount of columns across all workspaces in split view.
