Locked out because of the password

Steps to reproduce

I put a lock on the app on windows, after some time when I wanted to open it wanted the password but now I see the the password I thought I put is different that I did put. So I am basically locked out and uninstalling and installing it again doesn't change it. The app still want the password. Is there any way to change this?

And while at it I think having a "confirm password " can save other people from having this kind of situation.
