DoQ (DNS-over-QUIC) support

Open timkgh opened this issue 3 years ago • 7 comments

Any plans to support DoQ? If AdGuard becomes a default or an option in the default config (per #286), it would be very useful to support it: https://adguard.com/en/blog/dns-over-quic.html

@timkgh we would like to add DoQ support, but I suspect this will depend on the refactor providing DoH support. @wtoorop can probably say more...

It is more similar to DoT in that it uses UDP transport on port 853.

Adguard doq can use on Android, but not on Windows PC.

It currently has an RFC: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc9250

So I expect Stubby to support DoQ.
