Login aunthetication broken on Fedora 43 - Cursor 2.0.34

Environment:

OP: Linux Fedora 43 Version: 2.0.34 Installation method: RPM

Problem:

When attempting both sign up and log in, Cursor redirects me to an invalid URL.

Error Details:

• URL shown: file:///home/sbeltranastorga/.cache/kioexec/krun/35871_0/loginDeepControl
• Expected Result: Web-based authentication page.
• Actual Result: Blank page, unable to authenticate.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Start Cursor.
2. Click "Sign Up" or "Log In" button.
3. Get redirected to file:// URL of web login.

Notes:

• Internet connection is working fine.
• Firefox Developer Edition works fine in the same OP.
• Linux Fedora 43 released October 28, 2025 (4 days ago).
