Cursor with high CPU usage

Open HallexCosta opened this issue 7 months ago • 1 comments

Overview: My cursor now consumes a lot of CPU after I updated to a new version.

What have I already tried?

  1. Add .cursorignore, files.exclude in User Settings and Remote User Settings, and files.watcherExclude for both, following: https://docs.cursor.com/context/ignore-files#default-ignore-list
  2. I try reset .cursor-server deleting and downloading again but don´t work
  3. I try reboot the machine

alternative way to fix is downgrade to older version before update 0.48.9 but it don´t solve problem from next versions: https://gist.github.com/HallexCosta/5612b0ee81e88028f09802fcebcde7de

Any chance you're using this old settings sync extension? I was experiencing the same until I disabled that. Otherwise suggest trying extension bisect to see if it is caused by a different extension.

I seem to have the same problem, at least temporarily. It appeared with a very recent update. I presume it may disappear with a reboot, but I haven't tried yet.
