Chinese input question

When I use Sogou Input Method, I cannot input Chinese characters at all.

Then I switched to Microsoft Pinyin Input Method, but there was a situation where some characters were lost.

Specifically, when I input Chinese characters and use the space bar to submit the candidate characters to the terminal, the output text will be missing one character.

I suspect that the terminal termjs is the cause of the problem, but there is currently no conclusive evidence.
