Auth: Authentication blocked, please contact your admin
I have a pro subscription and I wanted to check my account but faced this error. I have tried changing browsers, connecting with VPN and doing every cache related things but nothing helped. The issue seemed to be with the account.
Now I can't even remove my card and don't know if it will auto charge me or what will happen. Please help.
Hey, same issue here with passmail. Would it be possible that someone claimed the @passmail.net domain and created an organization ? Hope this will be treated asap, not sure what orga admin can do with our accounts.
I'm also experiencing the same issue with passmail.net domain.
The timing suggests that either:
- The domain was recently added to a blocklist, or
- Someone created an organization with this domain
This is preventing me from accessing billing information and other important account details. Would appreciate if this could be looked into as soon as possible.
This should be treated as a security incident if someone added the domain to an organization. Not sure how they implemented their verification process but this most likely affects thousands of end users with unknown impact, specially in term of privacy.
I blocked debits from Cursor for now.
Yes, same. I've blocked the transactions. This is definitely a security flaw.
Getting the same issue with passmail. Emailed cursor, no response yet. Very frustrating, wanted to set up a new laptop as well but can't. The app still works on my existing PC 😕
@Chaz27 email them asking to stop charging your card and to cancel your subscription. They responded pretty quickly and cancelled my subscription. I can create a new account using my GitHub now. But it's pretty strange that using an email alias is causing an issue.

The exact same thing happened to me, only with the @aleeas.com domain – I can’t log into my account, and almost every day there are attempts to charge $20 to my card. This has to be a joke…
I actually disabled my card otherwise it would have been charged. There were a couple of attempts.
Yes, I also disabled my card as soon as I found out that my account was blocked. Nevertheless, the whole situation is absurd. For the past few days, all contact with them has completely stopped - they don’t even reply to my emails anymore 🤣 .

Same issue with a duck.com email account. That’s ridiculous. No response from their support yet.

Nope. The Cursor crew has been totally silent for weeks in my case.
In my case they've just replied saying they'll reimburse me but I must create another account with my original email (as opposed to @duck.com one).

fyi - cursor support replied (email) today to let me know they fixed this issue and to confirm. Success, not sure what they did but can login now with the original email they had blocked. Happy now. Thanks Cursor team!
Same issue here, using aleeas.com email domain. I've send request to support via [email protected] but still waiting for their reply.

I created an account using my GitHub and gmail afterwards. Haven't checked with the alias credentials again.

They are scam artists mate. A guy called "sam" got back to me once, and said he would link me with another member of staff, then nothing for days... Absolute con artists. Cancel your membership and go with someone else who cares about their customers.
Getting this with my custom squarespace domain ... Sadge. It is not only for passmail it seems. Just a normal pro account, no org. And logging in using GitHub auth though. Let me try to reset my password ...
EDIT: I added a password via reset password flow and got the same error. Wow
