Output chat history in multiple formats please.
Subject: Feature Request: Export Chat History in Multiple Formats
Dear Cursor Development Team,
I'm a regular user of Cursor and find it incredibly valuable for my development work. One feature that would significantly enhance my experience is the ability to export the full chat history in multiple formats.
Specifically, I'd like to request the ability to export chat history in the following formats:
- PDF: For easy reading and sharing
- Word DOC: For further editing and formatting
- CSV: For data analysis and importing into spreadsheets
- JSON: For programmatic processing and integration with other tools
Having these export options would allow users to:
- Back up important conversations
- Share discussions with team members who don't use Cursor
- Analyze chat data for insights into development processes
- Integrate Cursor data with other tools and workflows
It would also be helpful if we could reimport chat history from JSON that was previously exported.
I believe this feature would be valuable not just for me, but for many Cursor users who want to preserve their chat history or use it in different contexts.
