Resizing screen causes long load times and freezes on large screens

Using MacOS 14.2.1 (23C71) on M1 Max MacBook Pro 16" 64gb ,

When using large projects, resizing the screen to a wide monitor (LG 35" Class UltraWide Curved WQHD HDR10 Monitor) causes Cursor to not respond. Will load after 2-3 mins. Only occurs on the MacBook screen. Currently not doing that on Visual Code Studio.
