tried copy from text edit, cursor etc.
text in clip board, won't paste into composer
could be related to size (ie say 500-750 characters) . cursor ai chat will accept the paste but composer not
Same problem. MacOS. CMD+A, CMD+C, CMD+V not working. Tried all app sources, text lengths, ... other inputs in Cursor AI work fine.
Also seeing this. i can paste it into another application text field (like browser bar) and paste it back in. Just tried switching to LF from CRLF line endings will report if i see it again.
Same here. Unable to paste anything with line breaks that's copied from within Cursor editors but outside the composer window. Pasting individual lines works, and pasting linebreaks copied from within composer works, and pasting linebreaks from Apple notes app works.

I believe this is due to Sequoia, already had it in the betas and now in the final release, but not in Sonoma
At first I thought the text isn't pasting, because it doesn't show in composer's editor. Then I noticed that Composer is actually using this invisible text I pasted. On noticing further, the copied text was added to the context (probably so as to not interfere with the prompt).
Example, if I copied lines 97-276 of schema.sql, I get this in the context and Cursor is able to use that in its answer
On macOS Venture you can't paste in text if it has @ in it. Try to remove it before copying.
Idk if this will help but on ubuntu it didn't work with ctrl+v but it did work with ctrl+shift+v
