Win App has uninstalled itself + v.0.37.1 says it's installing, but doesn't and auto-deletes itself?!
I have no idea what just happened. The app has disappeared from desktop, I can still see the Cursor folder in AppData (I can't tell if files are missing though). All on its own. I don't think it updated itself as I need to confirm manually to upgrade it usually, but I don't know at this point. Was working fine, then suddenly I restarted my laptop and it's completely gone.
This has actually happened before, but can't remember with which version. Last time, downloading and installing latest setup version installed it back fine. This time, the setup says it's installing, then disappears and deletes its own setup exe.
Is there anywhere I can get a previous version?!
I think there is an issue with folder access/perms (probabyl starting with the installation itself), besides the odd installer behavior. After trying to install from the website's latest exe, the installer disappears but it also cannot be replaced with a fresh downloaded copy. Restarting one more time, re-downloading the installer and going ahead with the installation, did the trick.
