Password field on lock screen not using all available space

The password field on the Canoe lockscreen doesn't use all the space that is available, it only goes to about the middle. This can get quite annoying when you enter long passwords because you can't see if you continued typing. Here is a screenshot:

Do you still see this error? I have 1.0.0 through Google Play store and cannot duplicate this on android.
