is there a reason why you did not do the GH page in this repo? isn't it possible to do this in the same repo in a pages branch? At least this was how I used to do this in the past. can you check the documentation for that.

@bumi I need extra permissions to use this repo as the GitHub pages. If I can get this then I will switch it over and delete the new repo.
