explain how2use the Firefox extension

It would be great if you could explain somewhere how the Firefox extension works.

I installed it from the official Mozilla repo and ... nothing happens. There is no toolbar icon or any new menu entry. How can I start/use the extension ?

Neither the official Mozilla addon site nor the Github project page nor the "getting started" section on your webpage explains ... well ... how to actually "get started" ... These are the places where an explanation would be expected.

Perhaps I am blind and there are instructions somehwere, but I couldn't find them. Thanks for your help.
