Onboarding guidance

I’d like to walk a new user through the entire process. Many steps (register a domain, set up a self-building site) can only be described, but some others (set up indieauth, link to your endpoint) could actually be verified.

I’m imagining some sort of step-by-step guide with multiple pages, and for each site a “you’re ready for this step” notice. Like LinkedIn nagging you to complete your profile.
