Add info to fades and case hardeneds from the dbs I took from reddit.

Have you checked broskin for fade percent ? it even shows Fade percent of new knives https://broskins.com/index.php?pages/fade_checker/

@RonGokhale hmm, thanks for this I did not know about it. Do you happen to know how they do it? I am guessing they created a database manually. Unfortunately I am pretty bad at telling fade percentages, do you think they are accurate?

i'm sure he based his checker on opskins fade db (https://itemdb.opskins.com/fades/) but i can't vouch for exact % since i'm not fade expert either. If i'm not wrong cs.money fade % is most accurate but i have no idea broskins % is inline with csm or not. https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198064251081 that sites owner profile if you wanna contact him.

Oh his checker shows cs.money % as well, like 393 karambit fade which is 100% on csm do show as 100% csm. he also saved AK-47 Case Hardened Ranks from zone https://broskins.com/index.php?threads/pattern-rank-on-ak-47-case-hardened-and-price-value-in-2019.15/

Today I created a pattern object and filled it with the fades for all knives and the glock fade, a function that adds finds the pattern info based on the item name and paint seed. Added pattern info element to inventories, made the text a nice gradient one with the fade knife colors. TODO on this remains:

  • Add case hardened info
  • Add marble fade info
  • Make up similar styles or those two
  • Add all of this pattern information to trade offers and market pages as well
