gephi App buffering

I have been having troubles with Gephi for the past week. It launches but then buffers endlessly on the landing page. Nothing else works or clicks except I force quit. I reinstalled and deleted the old one but no progress. Any ideas please? I use a Mac. Thanks

I have the same problem. (macos) Gephi 0.10.1 macOS 15.2 (24C101)

I installed Gephi and opened it for the first time ever, but all I see is this (see screenshot) with an infinite loading spinner. (My mouse is an infinite macOS-rainbow loading spinner). It also slows down my whole MacBook (M1). I tried the Apple Silicon download button first and then for Apple Intel as well with the same outcome.
