Two-factor authentication

Error while fetching gists - Must specify two-factor authentication OTP code. (401),

seems It doesn't works if the 2-factor auth is enabled

I had the same error. In webstorm I used token auth and is generating https://github.com/geowarin/gist-templates-plugin/issues/5.
