  • [ ] Skin depth and Diffusion distance (to explain depth information; where do we put?)
  • [ ] Dipole moment (needs to explain Tx moment; where do we put? @lheagy )
  • [ ] Footprint of a system (how do we compute this? any ideas?)
  • [ ] Resistive and Inductive limits (possibly from 3 loops)
  • [ ] Scaling with induction number (? not sure what do you mean @yangdikun)
  • [ ] Frequency to Time transform (where do we put? @dougoldenburg )

Awesome, thanks for starting this seogi! Here are my suggestions

  • Skin depth: maxwell1_fundamentals/physical_principles/principles_of_electromagnetic_induction/frequency_domain
  • Diffusion Distance: maxwell1_fundamentals/physical_principles/principles_of_electromagnetic_induction/time_domain
  • Dipole moment: maxwell1_fundamentals/physical_principles/sources_in_a_homogeneous_medium/ physical principles em 0 0 1 documentation 2016-03-31 21-34-41
  • "Footprint of a system": I think this is method / system specific (sensitivity and survey design) so the initial introduction of Sensitivities can take place in Maxwell II, III, IV (DC, FDEM, TDEM) - (the basic skeleton for each of these will follow that of Maxwell II: DC) and then further discussion in each of the relevant "Geophysical Surveys"
  • Resistive and Inductive Limits: agreed that this follows nicely from the 3 loop problem
  • Scaling of ?? with induction number @yangdikun
  • Freq to time: we could add a page in fundamentals - I think it would fit nicely in maxwell1_fundamentals/physical_principles/principles_of_electromagnetic_induction (right now there is frequency domain, then time domain, so following this with a discussion of the transform seems like a natural fit to me)

What do you think of that?
