Same issue for my ThinkPad T14 Gen 3 AMD updated the firmware from linux (fedora 39) and it now fails to post in exactly the same way

Absolute persistence was set to permanently disabled in the BIOS on my machine as well. My motherboard was replaced (under warranty) and everything is working again.
