f touches superscript digits

The kerning between f and superscript digits is too small, such that the shapes touch. This combination is rather common if one uses alot of footnotes to single words. I could try to fix this, but -- does it have to be done from fontforge? I was hoping it would be possible to alter featurefiles/Regular/kern.fea and then make, but that didn't seem to work.

I haven't opened this font from development, but from using it, it seems like this would be as simple as adding the superscript numbers to the list of characters that trigger the contextual alternate f that has a shorter arm (which you can see in the pair f], for example).
