page turning not working properly

fbreader 2.8 beta 1 (2075132) ls-4001/lyf android 5.1 w/out google play services

i have configured page turning: scroll pages vertically. book format: PDF

single tap does not work.

it works, if i enable: book option: zoom mode: fixed zoom: fit page / fit width

i expect to work seamlessly with least interference of settings, in simple words: must work properly with default settings.
