Support for temperature offset?

Would it be possible to add an option for a calibration offset? My heat pump consistently reads ~7degF low, and I'd like to be able to adjust for this without using an external sensor (and introducing another possible point of failure). It looks like Filters in ESPHome would handle this, but it seems Filters won't work with this component.
