Docs: Sphinx conversion of several more benchmarks

Converting another batch of benchmark documentation to sphinx format. After this, one more large batch or two small ones should finish up the remaining benchmarks.

As usual, I only changed the citation tags for references that don't appear anywhere else in the manual.
