How do you generate the 3D terrain in map.geo.admin.ch?

I am trying to replicate on offline 3D model of your 3D viewer.

Unfortunately, as per issue #3156 I cannot succeed because I have a problem with the z-coordinate of the buildings. As long as I understood — thanks @danduk82 and @procrastinatio — the problem is between COLLADA and LN02 height models.

At this point, however, I have a question: How do you generate the 3D terrain model you use for the 3D viewer on map.geo.admin.ch? If this data (i.e., point cloud?) is available, I could re-use it without converting back and forth COLLADA coordinates from WGS84 to Swiss and altitudes from COLLADA height model to LN02.

Any help is appreciated!
