How to install guide?
Hi everyone, i tried a little bit to get the code to work on my own server. But i don't get a step forward...
It would be really nice, if someone who has got the code to life make a little "tutorial" (maybe a video would be the best). I think it would help many people here.
Thank you very Much
Karl
Hi pixelwise and everyone else,
I have just gotten around to resetting one of my bridges which appears to have worked, but alas alpha is down, so I want to try and get sirius running on a RPi or similar. I know some people who have posted here have gotten it running, so hoping that they can post any notes on whats needed to be done, maybe we can collate them to make it easier?
Thanks everyone and Matt for getting this here in the first place
Mark
@pixelwiese @geocontrol I have made a guide here. Installing Sirius on Mac / Linux / Raspberry Pi
@pixelwiese @geocontrol And we used @hako 's excellent guide as input to make LittlePrinterPi, a pre-made image or install script to get Sirius up and running on your Raspberry Pi. I tried to include a full installation guide in the wiki.
Hope this helps!
Hello! I'm not an expert but I can figure out almost everything... That's why I'm asking you if is it possible to install sirius on a shared server on hostgator... Hope the answer followed by some hints will be "YES"...!!!
@mungle You should be fine on a VPS that you have full root access too (but it will not work on a web hosting package) ... good luck!
Thank you! To start understand and learn sirius I preferred to install it on a raspberry pi following the guide you linked... everything works now except for the twitter authentication... it give me back an internal server error... How to understand where could be the problem? Any help? Thank you!
@mungle try entering this from the sirius path "python manage.py db upgrade"
Thank you very much for your help. I already solved the issue and posted the solution here: https://github.com/beyondio/LittlePrinterPi/issues/1
