Update list of cameras without close image acquirer

What is the goal that you want to achieve by the request? Please describe a clear and concise description of what the motivation is. For example:

There is a way to only update the list of cameras present without disconnect image acquirer already presents?

Additional context I would monitor monitor (i.e. every 3/4 seconds) if new cameras are added/removed while I acquire with a camera already present. If I call update(), the existing connected camera shall be terminated and I have to restart it
