Thought: Noctua maintenance windows, restarts not smooth User and Dev Experience (alternatives?)
I woke up thinking: I am beginning to think the maintenance windows and many emails to save models and outages is really not very smooth user experience, but more also on the developers. Many modern sites are no longer doing that.
For Developers: We should make a system which can be updated anytime we want without disrupting than to wait for Thursday's maintenance window. Not only slow, but pressure driven and code backlog. And also to play with a production server linearly without any intermediary is not fail safe.
For users, This should be seamless, no outages, few emails, no forced save before the outage/maintenance window
Potential Solution
Since we are using AWS and its tech, we can have 2 identical servers and one on demand intermediary server to serve for the maintenance window or any update. Noctua can just point to one while updating other one seamless without any disruption. I believe AWS will have those things automated
