cyclosporin A binding PTN008511653

Open ValWood opened this issue 7 months ago • 2 comments

  • PTHR ID & PTN node:

I have a few annotations for cyclosporin A binding from lots of sources. It seems odd since cyclosporin is a compound isolated from soil fungus and used as an immunosuppressive drug. Presumably, this binding is not physiologically relevant for most organisms? I am going to block the GO term for PomBase, but I don't like doing this unless I report it...

ticket GO remove cyclosporin A binding
  • Sequences with problematic annotation (ID + gene/protein name):

see above

  • Type of Issue: Erroneous source or erroneous propagation, or other issue

  • Add the label 'high priority' if needed. Generally high priority issues affect a lot of proteins, and annotations are incorrect (as opposed to just imprecise).
