PTN000025022 (PTHR10210)

Open sjm41 opened this issue 2 months ago • 0 comments

  • PTHR ID & PTN node: PTN000025022 (PTHR10210)

  • Sequences with problematic annotation (ID + gene/protein name): Dmel FBgn0039790 | CG2246 Human PRPSAP1/PRPSAP2

  • Type of Issue: Erroneous source or erroneous propagation, or other issue I think the issue here is that the current PANTHER family groups together the catalytic (e.g. PRPS1, PRPS2) and regulatory subunits (e.g. PRPSAP1, PRPSAP2), with the result that the regulatory (non-cat) subunits are incorrectly getting the "GO:0004749 ribose phosphate diphosphokinase activity" annotation
