Add custom hosts
My ISP is blocking all of the hosts built into the app, can the ability to add custom hosts be added?
If you are using desktop app ComboBox is editable, just enter new host there. For android it is not possible. You will need hosts that have magnet links on page, there are many that just popup ads and you need to click to get magnet, such hosts will not work.
If possible I will add ability to use SOCKS server in next release. It is easy to setup on server in some other country for example.
Thanks for the quick reply. I am using the Android app and was referring to the links for tpb and ez within settings. The choices there are rather limiting. I shall continue using magnet links. Keep up the good work!
New version will have support for tor socks proxy and .onion links, and it will start tor when app starts. By default it will use tpb on .onion link, and that should work for everyone, in most cases it will work even when tpb is down on official domain. All torrent traffic can go through tor, it will also be enabled by default.
