Support for bookmarks
Bug/Feature description
F.e.: I want to add a bookmark at a certain position of the audio and with the ability to add a small note in it. So the bookmark would have the time, the audiobook which was taken, and a note . Thanks
This would be brilliant. It would allow going back to listen to an earlier part of the book, without losing the current listening position.
+1 this would be great
Maybe this can help: There is an open source android app called "Voice" which has this bookmarks feature. If you want inspiration, it could help.
Thanks
It would be great to get a synchronized last position between Cozy and Voice.
Theres not even a way to export bookmarks on voice :(
To be honest i would enough if they accepted the same format instead of storing it on a database. I think .m4b admits bookmark to be embedded on the file
Not to be confused with Bookmark for saving were you left off.
I would like this also. A file for each audiobook which will save the bookmark timestamp and bookmark name. This way you can save your favourite parts of a chapter or even takes notes by saving a bookmark in a chapter.
This data should be saved in a separate file which could be synced with other devices and backup separately from the audiobook file.
Maybe using subtitle files as a solution such as an SRT file? https://fileinfo.com/extension/srt
Hopefully Voice add this feature also https://github.com/PaulWoitaschek/Voice/discussions/1585
Bumping this issue. Books need bookmarks.
