This card is a pcie 3.0 x8 to 4- 3.0 x4 oculink connections serviced through a PLX PEX9733 switch, made for use with nvme drives. https://www.supermicro.com/en/products/accessories/addon/AOC-SLG3-4E2P.php

I have one on hand and a CM4 coming soon so I should be able to test it out and report findings. While supermicro claims these only work on certain supermicro boards, at my office we use these on numerous systems without issue.
