Estimated result count is different then google show
As i see, estimated result count currently difference from the data, that showed in google search page directly
It's very possible that google search page customizes the results for you, depending on your country, or even more so if you're logged into your google account. I imagine that the google api might not. In any case, I wouldn't know how to get a different result count; if you find a bug let us know!
This is strange: For exampe i ask Google directly for phrase: "артериальное давление" (Russian. In Egnlish it will be Blood pressure). It shows to me that estimated results count is 1840000 But when i ask this through this gem - it gives to me another: estimated_result_count is just 29400
This is really strange for me. Using Google Chrome in anonymous mode do not change result. Trying for several russian words give me smaller count through this gem then directly.
@ZiNTeR Even in anonymous it might be doing things based on location. In general I think it will, unfortunately, be pretty hard for us to figure out why these numbers might differ. To the best of our knowledge the gem is doing the right thing, even if what happens on the google end is mysterious.
I'll try to double check that there is not something strange going on with the encoding, based on the examples given.
