I just requested similar feature, I would love to test this, I have bare metal primary plex, kube-plex on k8s cluster and 3rd one one as plain docker on OMV...

Yes setting uid and gid will let me deploy this in my kubernetes cluster with trafik ingress and mariadb endpoint.

Yes same issue, its definitely kube-plex issue and I could not use this at that time, now I see you have ability to mount multiple directories and that should solve...
