Logo missing from 'About this System'

Hi there.

This is probably a very small issue, but the OS logo is missing from the About This System page in Plasma's settings. Instead I'm getting some sort of blank page icon (?)...

Hi there! Thanks for reporting. Do you happen to know if a vanilla Debian installation would have a logo there?

I've never used Debian so wouldn't know, but I presume they too have their own logo there. Every KDE distro I've used provides a customised logo.

Hey there, I also have this issue, using GeckoLinux ROLLING and Gnome. There is no logo shown in the about section.

I did some research, it seems like in /usr/lib/os-release the logo name has to be specified, which is then placed in /ist/Share/icons There is a merge request on the gnome side explaining the naming convention, but that's on Suse's side. Only the logo name in os-release has to be made equal to tumbleweed's one and the icons need to be copied Then, it should work. :)

EDIT: I installed Tumbleweed, it actually seemed to be configured the same, I don't know, why it's not working, am I missing something?

Had this issue as well. I reinstalled distribution-logos-openSUSE-Tumbleweed and distribution-logos-openSUSE-icons and I think it is fixed? At least I got the tumbleweed logo now unsure if geckolinux had its own

I reinstalled distribution-logos-openSUSE-Tumbleweed

Very nice, thanks for finding that.

Nope, GeckoLinux by design has no packages of its own, to avoid creating dependencies on one-man projects for updates.
