Call Sign Display Color

In CPS, on the Display tab of Optional settings, Call Sign Display Color may be set as black or red. Black is not useful, especially on the 878. Could white be offered as an option, or is there a way to hack the firmware so that black is actually white? Since the background color on the 878 is black, I don't understand why black would ever be wanted as a foreground color.

You can add your own background image, which could be a light colour, in that case black would be useful. The choice of colours is probably leftover from the 868 firmware.

I like the dark background on the 878. Since firmware obviously knows how to display white characters, I'm thinking now that this could be addressed in CPS. Is there a place to make feature requests for CPS? I also wish the scroll wheel worked in CPS.

I found a way to do this with a hex editor. On a test code plug, change block 000000C009 to 00. It would be really nice if the CPS drop-down menu on character display options could offer black, white, red, and blue.

I actually prefer a lighter background (even white) so I miss the option to have black for channel/zone names. There can't be any technical limitation in simply adding that as an option since all the other colors are there.
