Radio locked up
I had a few times where the radio locked up.
Had to remove the battery as it would not even turn off.
Unable to reproduce though!
V2.3 has the same issue here. Interestingly it seems to occur much more often when I have an external antenna connected (I have two repeater in the garage with their antennas about 4' vertically above the 868 antenna, but only running 0.1W and 3W ERPd). This sounds unlikely, but it tracks.
Another possible reason - suspect the charger may only charge once when radio first inserted, then may not trickle; radio will die eventually if left on in charger (which I have done with all radios for over 30 years...). Supplier claims V then falls below processor min. V and locks up processor. But that means the voltage cutout threshold is set wrong (not clear if this is HW or FW). Supplier indicates it cannot be left on in charger (design flaw or "customer expectation management"?).
I can reply Issue , i have found 2 DMR commercial repeater when i tune on our frequency after about 1 minute the radio hang , and must remove battery .
