I installed on Debian 12 using the source. Seems like the markdown previewer is not working. I use it in the message window on the right. Please see the image. I installed geany and plugins via source files and build. Version 2.1

Do you see any possibly related warnings or errors in Help->Debug Messages?

How exactly did you install Geany and Geany-Plugins? They should be installed in the same prefix, e.g. /usr/local.
