bt socket error
I have managed to get this working once for receive only, managed to hear a mobile station 20 miles away then this happens:
Connecting to 34:81:F4:A2:47:F8 channel 1....
Connected to TNC
java.io.IOException: bt socket closed, read return: -1
Any ideas, thanks
This sounds like a Bluetooth connection error. Sometimes it helps to turn Bluetooth off and on again, but you might also have to set the channel to empty, so that the app will try to auto-connect to the SPP channel.
If you have successfully received data, then it seems like it's working in general and there is a Bluetooth connectivity issue.
I am getting the exact same error. Brand new TNC3, cable. Using Samsung s20 5gfe and baofeng uv5r. Can transmit test tone from mobilinkd app but not any packets. Tried all reboots and parameter settings

To help debug this, it might be helpful to compare with another general-purpose Bluetooth Serial app. It's been a while since I've used one, but I think this one should do it:
Does this app stay connected and provide continuous output from the device?
