Order Vomnibar history matches by number of hits
I'm not sure how the Vomnibar results are ordered but I feel that the number of visits to a URL that are recorded in the browser's history is not being considered when ordering the results.
~~This is one thing that cVim/vb4c is doing pretty well which is the main reason why I can't switch to vimium-c.~~ edit: I actually switched to Vimium-C.
Sounds promising.
This is a great suggestion.
It would be great to have an additional option, that when having checked a resulting page and it is not the target, upon activating the Vomnibar again it still shows the most recent results which can be selected and opened BUT with a clear search field so entering a new search immediately causes a new search .
I often finds myself repeating the initial search as to check quickly between the recent results until I find what I searched.
hoping my explanation makes sense.
Sorry, I can't get what do you mean. Could you provide some example steps, detailed query strings and result URLs?

@cocoonkid You may "open a link without closing Vomnibar", by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Enter to make url open in a background tab.
@gdh1995 Thanks so much, that indeed solves my problem too :-) My apology for not replying sooner. Best
