Closing tabs that were created with ctrl-t and LinkHints.activateOpenInNewForegroundTab returns focus to the caller tab, is there a way to have this for createTab and openUrl as well?

Is there a way to have this behavior for createTab and openUrl? Closing the created tab for these commands do not return focus from the caller tab.
