removeTab goto="left" isn't working

I remember this used to work for me, but isn't working any longer. In certain edge cases it would work, but very rarely and more likely to default to the right tab.

Windows 10, Firefox 133.0 It had not been working for a few versions of Firefox ago, I just didn't report it.
