universal normal mode
when you enter inside a website sometime it automatically move your cursor on the text box to get out from text box you need to press the esc key for normal mode
problem :
when some website put you in the insert mode as you land on it .and some website are in the normal mode you can not smoothly switch to tabs by shift + j/k
and sometime imaging you are using j/k to move page up / down and you move to other tab you starting pressingj/kand instead of moving page up/down it start typing jjjjjjjjjj kkkkkkk in the text box

how should it work :
as soon as you switch to normal mode your previous and all other tabs should switch to normal mode
we can achieve it by having a universal normal mode instead of page specific normal mode
means when we are in the normal mode the whole browser should switch to normal mode at once
i would really appropriate your willingness to help or any inside possible and thank-you so much to make my life easier this project..
Hello, I don't remember exactly but there's a setting in options that's called prevent websites from stealing focus or something similar. Have you tried that?
Hello, a recommended way is to use Global shortcuts on chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
You may also open the page from Vimium C Options page:
As for prevent websites from stealing focus, it only takes effects when a tab firstly loads, so switching back to "a page in editing mode" is not affected by it.
