In other words...what can do ext4-crypt which can not be done with"official" e4crypt. Thanks

I never had the chance to have a look at e4crypt. Currently this tool is not shipped with e2fsprogs on my distribution (Arch).

Since e4crypt is meant to be the official tool, I guess there is nothing you won't be able to do with it. ext4-crypt will probably be superseded by it in the future.

I will continue supporting new kernel features unless this is pointless and e4crypt does a good job already.
