location tracking doea not update since 2-3 weeks ago
i don't know why but my location info do not update since 2-3 weeks ago i tried everything including completely delete the integration and installing it from scratch on the apple find my website the position is correct but in home assistant it's stuck into one of my zone and doesn't update
It sounds like the iPhone in your Apple account is not associated with the iCloud3 device. Go to the Configure > Updated Devices screen and make sure the selected Apple Acct iCloud device is correct.
Also check the Event Log > Startup Stage 3 & 4 to see if there are any errors or notifications, the devices in you Apple account and the phone associated with the iCloud3 phone.
If you changed to another phone, iCloud3 may be still locating the old one.
I tried everything you mentioned but no dice (nothing relevant in the log either)nfor the time being I've switched to the official integration
Before you give up, If be glad to take a look at the iCloud3 log file (icloud3.log) and the Event Log export file if you would like.
Start iCloud3, go to Event Log > Actions > Start Rawdata logging, restart HA to get a clean iCloud3 log file Let it run for 2-3 hours to get several locates for your phone Go to Event Log > Actions > Export Event Log Email icloud3.log and the Event_log_date.log files to [email protected]
I’ll look at them and see if I spot something.

Sure I'm not ho right now but in 5-6 hours when i return i will reinstall the integration and send you everything (I've already removed it once so I'm pretty sure the issue will remain)
there's something i have to sanitize in the log before sending it to you?
No. Anything sensitive in the log files is already filtered.
now it's working and i don't understand why it didn't even ask me for a verification code... maybe because the official integration was already logged in and it counts it as the same session?
The native iCloud and iCloud3 do not share session info. This is probably all in Apple’s end where your Apple account was locked or needed some type of approval action that was satisfied when you logged in through the native iCloud integration. You probably never know what was needed.
